Hello! We have a sweet little spot in Helensburgh which is surrounded by bush walks in the middle of the National Park; and just a 10 minute drive to the beach at Stanwell Park.
The house is also just 1 hour to Wynyard Station on the train (Bonus – Helensburgh Station which is just a 3 minute drive down the road is an Express Stop)
We are maybe 100m down from Helensburgh Village, so it’s super convenient. The pub nd our favourite coffee shop is literally about 4-5 doors up the road!
There’s even a free pool here in town which is only a handful of steps past the pub.
We are one end of a trio of townhouses, but It’s a very private place up on a hill with incredible views.
We have an awesome little cat named Astro who will need a friend while we are away. He’s fully grown but he’s a runty little inside/ outside guy. He’s pretty friendly after he realises that you’re the key to the food delivery… He’s a bit of a puppy/cat and loves to play.
We are looking for someone to stay here while we are away because he’s really used to having at least one of us home with him most of the time. You would just need to let him out in the morning and give him some food and attention. He comes in and out all day while you’re here and the back door is open. And around 5pm he’s usually looking for dinner which is a good time to close the door and keep him in (even though he may protest). He often likes to play with you for a bit once he’s shut in for the evening too.
Of course, checking/ cleaning his litter once a day is necessary. And giving our plants some love/ water every few days too.
You’d have the whole house (with wifi) to yourself. There’s a spare bedroom that would be yours. There are a few really lovely outdoor hangout/ sitting areas to enjoy (we even have our own tiny patch of bush next to the house!).
