Hello fellow country life lovers,
We are a modern, well organised, spacious, secluded hobby farm on 60 beautiful acres, with 40 of the acres being a natural private native forest,
We are surrounded by crown land and you won’t see a single neighbour and rarely see another car. Its ultimate privacy here, leaving you to enjoy true country life in spa country. We even have a natural mineral spring you can collect from! Were only 18 minutes to the famous tourist town and spa area of Daylesford and Hepburn. And only 13 minutes to the train station in Ballan, that takes you to Ballarat or Melbourne. We are directly across the road from Wombat State forest. There are so many bush walks, walking distance from the house, that you could take a new one every day for weeks.
Our house is a custom built passive solar house, which means it is naturally warm in winter without much energy input required, and naturally cool in summer.
The views are heavenly from the main living areas. and the loudest noises you’ll hear is the the mating calls of the night frogs!
We have easy to care for farm animals, with most of their needs done automatically. All are family members and very friendly and safe. And most likely some baby goats will have just arrived by the time you get here. Just checking on them (checking their little jumpers are comfortable) and feeding their mum will be the main chore (if you can call it a chore). We would prefer people used to horses, but do have friends that can come and help if their is any issues.
We plan to leave 1 small friendly dog and have two cats with simple needs.
