Description
Our 100-acre farm is situated in a rural area approx. 16 km’s north of Tamworth in NSW. Our modern 3-bedroom home has every amenity available including: heating, cooling, wi-fi, streaming services, large deck, BBQ area, fire pit, plenty of covered parking just to name the most important things. We have 2 very friendly outside dogs who enjoy our large, enclosed yard and walks in the surrounding fenced bushland. They don’t fret if left at home alone so house sitters are free to discover Tamworth and surrounds or enjoy the “Hats off to Country” festival in July. We have 20 angus cattle who are self-sufficient and simply require checking in on occasionally. Water and feed is readily available to them.
We are a 1-hour drive to Armidale or Gunnedah. The villages of Nundle, Kootingal, Manilla and Barraba are a short drive away as well. Keepit, Chaffey and Split Rock dams are all within an hour’s drive from our home if you are wanting to fish, picnic or do day trips. Tamworth is a large regional city that has many services available including: Forum 6 cinema, Tamworth Base Hospital, Qantas flights to Sydney and Link airways to Brisbane, shops, restaurants and walking paths and sporting facilities.
House sitters are welcome to sleep in our granny flat, bring their own caravan or our spare room with queen bed and private bathroom.
