G’day! I’m Justin, a travelling medical researcher, freelance science writer, and passionate photographer. In April 2022, I ventured into the world of remote work, leaving my office job and material possessions behind to embrace a nomadic life of travel and personal discovery.

Previously, I dedicated ten years to my studies, earning a doctorate in medical research. I even had the challenging yet rewarding experience of working on clinical trials for brain and prostate cancer patients during the global pandemic. But as I worked, I realized the traditional office routine wasn’t my preferred environment.

Now, I’m excitedly exploring remote roles in the fast-paced and innovative fields of start-ups, biotech, digital health tech, and fintech. At the same time, I’m nurturing my creative side with a personal project in photography and videography.

When I’m not working or capturing the world through my camera, I’m an outdoors enthusiast. I enjoy yoga, rock climbing, surfing, hiking, playing basketball, and exercising at the gym.

During my travels, particularly through Europe, I had the privilege of meeting numerous wonderful people and their delightful pets. These encounters led to several housesitting opportunities, each leaving me with cherished memories and enriching experiences.

In April 2023, I returned home to Australia and found a wonderful housesitting gig in Geelong, where, together with my best friend, we have been caring for a lovely feline companion.
