Myself (Charlotte, 24) and my partner (David, 25) are currently on a working holiday in Australia, and are looking for the opportunity to house sit while we are here. We both love pets of any kind, both caring for multiple dogs back home in the UK. I’ve grown up on a hill-sheep farm back in Scotland and am now finishing up a job working on a Diary farm in Naringal. Prior to coming out to Australia 2 months ago, we house sat for Davids mum and her two King Charles Cavalier Spaniels for a year in Northern Ireland. These dogs were both rescues, who each had their own complex needs. Whilst living in Northern Ireland I worked as a Support Worker for people with Autism, during which I completed an in-depth background check by the Police (PSNI). Alongside this I have gained 8 years experience working with children and resultingly have multiple PVG’s (Police Disclosures); during 8 months of which I worked as a live in Nanny and helped a family of 4 maintain their house and raise a Hungarian Vizsla from a puppy.
