Description
We are looking for an amazing housesitter/s to take the reins of our small farm for just over a month. Enjoy a country Christmas!
We run sheep (merinos and composites) that will need someone to check and top up water troughs. Buster, our pony will require water and a daily hard feed. We will leave feeding instructions and have a plan for you for all the animals but nothing is involved that takes a large chunk of time daily.
Our house is a three bedroom 1950’s brick veneer with shaded outdoor BBQ area and big farm kitchen with a dishwasher. It’s an oldie but a goodie! We have a new renovated bathroom and Starlink wifi.
We have one indoor cat and indoor dog and they both will require feeding and company daily. Twiggy, the whippet will adore couch time with about 20 minutes of walking or running a day. We also have a working sheepdog, Kimba who requires a daily walk. All are super friendly although have no experience with young children so couples are our preferred sitters
Basic farm/sheep experience would be advantageous.
We have nearby bush walking trails, trout fishing in our large dam and a great setting to enjoy the rural life only 20 minutes from shopping.
Plenty of parking and room for a can or motorhome .
